AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CENTER

Situated on the eastern exposure of Centennial Olympic Park, American Cancer Society Center’s simplistic exterior design downplays the expansive columns and spacious floor plates. It was 1989 when John Portman saw his vision of this 9-story building through to completion.

With an additional 4-story below grade parking garage, this 993,260 rentable square foot Class A Commercial Office Building encompasses over an entire city block. Expansive atriums add to the building’s ambience as exterior balconies cascade over Atlanta’s premier park, Centennial Olympic Park, in the heart of the city’s business and tourism district.

The building has easy access to interstates 75, 85, and 20, and Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome, and Georgia World Congress Center are only steps away.  Covered walkways connect the building to Atlanta’s MARTA rail system. It is also connected to the Atlanta Apparel and Merchandise Marts and is near many retail amenities and restaurants including Peachtree Center Pedestrian Mall, Starbucks, Azios, Ruth’s Chris, Ray’s in the City, and Hard Rock Café.

The Center partners with Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and the Downtown Transportation Management Association (DTMA) to offer building tenants a wide range of transportation options including Ride Share, Van Pools, and Breeze Cards.

Centennial Olympic Park is located directly across the street from American Cancer Society Center and in 2007 and 2008 brought such events as the Walk for Water, AT&T in the Park, March of Dimes WalkAmerica, Atlanta 2-Day for Breast Cancer, MADD Strides for Change, SoCo Music Experience, Screen on the Green, and numerous concerts to the park. In addition, transient revenue is created by visitors to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Children’s Museum, and Philips Arena all within walking distance of the Center.

American Cancer Society Center's variety of conference rooms are what set this commercial office building apart from others in the area. These conference spaces are available for tenant use for holiday parties, luncheons, and company meetings. The Center has an executive Board Room which seats 18-25, a Press Room with seating up to 85 and a Theatre that accommodates up to 450 and is 1 of 2 locations in Atlanta with video conferencing capabilities. The 69,000 square feet of open Street level lobby afford the Center and its tenants the luxury of planning large gatherings for special occasions. The spectacular view overlooking the Downtown area from the lobby also lends to an already desirable location for special events.

Other amenities available include a catering kitchen for outside events, Office Automotive onsite auto repair, 161 Auto Detail car wash, McCain's Garment dry cleaning drop off and pick up service, a Georgia Lottery kiosk on Street level, and internal cleaning which is an above standard janitorial service available during office hours for those tenants who have restrooms inside their spaces. Additionally, as a way to welcome new tenants into the building, each tenant is treated to a breakfast from Cousins Properties once settled in their new home.
